Important Event Information
- All events must conclude by 11:00 PM.
- Chabad is located in a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of neighbors.
- Guests should park along Lovejoy Street.
- Wait staff is required for Friday night and Shabbos day rentals.
- Wait staff must reset seating in the shul after meals.
- Set-up and clean-up time must be completed within the rental period.
Rental Rate
- Four (4) hour minimum rental required
- Overtime charges apply after four hours
- Member Rate: $100 per hour / Active membership required
- Non-Member Rate: $200 per hour
Catering Information
- All food served on the premises and caterers must be Certified Kosher Chalav Yisrael Dairy, Pas Yisrael and Glatt Kosher Meat by the VAAD, STAR-K, OU or another nationally known kashrus agency or establishment.
- Caterers must be approved by the front office prior to ordering.
- Outside caterers/vendors must provide proof of insurance.
- Kitchen access is limited primarily to storage.
- Cooking on premises is not permitted.
- All disposable serving supplies must be provided by renter/caterer.
Deliveries & Access
- Facility access begins at the rental start time.
- Deliveries must occur on the event date unless special arrangements are approved.
- A designated representative must be present for deliveries.
- The downstairs lobby, library, and C-Teen rooms are not part of the rental space.
Decorations
- Decorations, props, signs and posters must be free-standing and may not be attached to walls.
- Tape, nails, screws, hooks, picture hangers, staples, pushpins, etc. may not be used or applied on any of the facility walls, ceilings, doors, or furniture without prior consent.
- Do not move any artwork, plants etc., without consulting with the front office.
- We do not permit the use of lit candles (unless contained), any sticky materials such as silly string or similar items.
