Magnum-Sized Bottle of Fine Wine
The Clos des Menuts is a French red wine produced in the Saint Emilion region . It is a masterfully crafted blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc. This magnum, produced in 2004 was stored for years in the historic - UNESCO protected - underground cellar of the winery. Aged in French oak barrels for at least 18 months the Clos des Menuts is an excellent wine with aromas of red and black berries, and due to aging displays layers of complexity on the palate with a long finish of fruit, mushroom and vanilla. The tannins have integrated well over the years and the acid is still vibrant.
