We raised $90,071 for Chabad of Silver Spring!

The past year has been truly unprecedented in so many ways. We have all faced challenges and loss, but we have also been given the opportunity to seek deeper connections with our family and friends. Chabad has always been focused on strengthening the ties that bind us to each other and to Judaism. That mission has proven even more important in the face of the Covid pandemic than ever before.

Chabad of Silver Spring is blessed to continue to grow and serve more people every year. Our shul, Hebrew School, The Gan Montessori, and Camp Gan Israel reach thousands of households every year. Despite many logistical and financial challenges, Chabad continued to offer a full slate of davening, learning, social events, and fun, meaningful experiences for children of all ages.

We traditionally host our Gala each February as a night to join together to benefit Chabad. We are not able to host that event in February this year. We eagerly anticipate the time that we will be able to join together again in person, but Chabad needs your support until that time is possible. Our Day of Giving to support Chabad of Silver Spring will be February 7, 2021. The theme of the day is Looking Forward. We all look forward to a bright future when we can celebrate together over meals and for holidays, when we can learn together in person, pray together without concern, and enjoy community simchas. We ask you all to join in support of Chabad of this Day of Giving at one of the giving levels described in the enclosed brochure. We have meaningful gifts of gratitude for each giving level and will deliver them to your home as a token of our thanks.

Please partner with Chabad again this year. We are all looking forward to our bright future together of continued community, personal and spiritual growth, and deepening connections to each other and to Judaism. Your support means so much to us and to all those who are impacted by Chabad's programming and activities. Wishing you continued health and happiness,

Rabbi Berel and Chaya Wolvovsky
