The CDC provides general information and recommendations on its COVID-19 website. It also offers tips for managing stress and anxiety during this difficult time.   

Local Information and Resources

Montgomery County maintains a COVID-19 website with information about closures and cancellations, information on testing, information about the Montgomery County Volunteer Center which connects volunteers with those needing assistance, and an updated list of grocery stores that offer special shopping hours for increased risk populations.

The state of Maryland has a special COVID-19 website with information about cases in Maryland, recommendations and guidance from Governor Larry Hogan's office, and links to many other resources.

In an effort to simplify access to the plethora of available resources for COVID-19 assistance and information, Yad Yehuda of Greater Washington has created a stand-alone website that includes a wide range of resources for the Greater Washington Jewish community. Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington is offering emergency loans to support those affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

The Mikvah Emunah Society of Greater Washington issued this updated letter on March 30 with information regarding use of the mikvah during the COVID-19 crisis.
