The CDC provides general information and recommendations on its COVID-19 website. It also offers tips for managing stress and anxiety during this difficult time.   

Local Information and Resources

Montgomery County maintains a COVID-19 website with information about closures and cancellations, information on testing, information about the Montgomery County Volunteer Center which connects volunteers with those needing assistance, and an updated list of grocery stores that offer special shopping hours for increased risk populations.

The state of Maryland has a special COVID-19 website with information about cases in Maryland, recommendations and guidance from Governor Larry Hogan's office, and links to many other resources.

Yad Yehuda of Greater Washington offers emergency financial support for members of the community. You can speak to a COVID-19 volunteer or request assistance through their COVID-19 website.

Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington is offering emergency loans to support those affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

The Mikvah Emunah Society of Greater Washington issued this updated letter on March 30 with information regarding use of the mikvah during the COVID-19 crisis.

Am Yisrael vs. COVID-19 is a volunteer organization with a local branch that offer delivery assistance from stores for those who are in self-quarantine or in increased risk populations. You can learn more about requesting a delivery here
